W3 Awards

The W3 awards are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts consisting of top-tier professionals from media, advertising and marketing firms. The W3 Awards honor superior creativity on the web and recognize the individuals behind award winning web sites, web advertising and web marketing programs.

The Silver distinction is awarded to outstanding websites entered that represent a high standard of excellence.

Interactive Media Awards

The IMC is a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers and other web-related professionals. The competition is designed to elevate standards of excellence on the Internet. These 2006 Interactive Media Awards™ (IMA) in the Travel/Tourism category recognize the very best of hospitality, travel and tourism websites based on planning, execution, professionalism and standards compliance.

Web Marketing Association 2006 WebAwards

The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and web development on the World Wide Web. The WebAward recognizes the very best of website design and development, where entries are judged on several criteria including: innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.

HSMAI Professional of the Year Finalist:

HeBS Chief eBusiness Strategist Max Starkov was one of 3 finalists for the prestigious award of HSMAI’s "Professional of the Year," along with two other hospitality industry leaders who have continuously demonstrated excellence this past year. The award was presented on June 8, 2006 at HSMAI’s 13th Annual Frank W. Berkman Tourism Achievement Black Tie Gala Dinner at the Rainbow Room in New York City.

The purpose of the event was to recognize those individuals and organizations that have made inspiring and significant contributions to the tourism industry in New York City.
