Major Brand - Website Optimization
Background: A Global Brand with 100 luxury hotels worldwide decides to overhaul its two-year old global website to better compete against its comp set as well as third party intermediaries.
With extensive experience in website optimization and “best practices”, HeBS is tasked to evaluate the existing strategy and develop recommendations.
Actions: HeBS audits the website and develops a website optimization blueprint. Actions included:
- A new 4-tier navigation map, new copy with embedded target keywords for the Home Page and Main Pages, new page titles, meta tags and description tags
- A multi-page report comparing website's features and functionalities with its competitive set
- An action plan for implementing recommendations and launching a destination-focused search engine strategy.
Results: Based on the website optimization blueprint, the Global Brand is currently implementing the recommendations. It continues to work with HeBS to develop and implement a number of the website optimization recommendations, including a robust destination portal strategy.
